As a business analyst, ever wonder who uses your documented requirements. Attend this panel discussion to find out how requirements are used by architects, developers, testers, and end users. Audience participation is encouraged so bring your questions for this panel of local "experts."
Panelists Biographies Technical Architect – Justin Barnes, Portfolio Architect, Dean Health Plan Justin has over 12 years of technical experience with companies in the insurance, manufacturing, and retail industries. During his career he has played the role of developer, analyst, architect, and manager on both large and small projects. He believes the most successful projects have well defined requirements developed using a focused iterative approach. Developer – Jeremy Menke-Fields, SBS Application Developer, Capitol Insurance Companies Jeremy has over 7 years of development experience with companies ranging from Banking Interest Rates to Property and Casualty Insurance to Surety/Fidelity Bonds. His primary responsibilities include day to day support and new feature development on Surety Bond System. This includes using requirements for new feature development and enhancements. Tester – Benjamin Yaroch, Software Test Manager, WTS Paradigm Ben has been a software tester for more than six years. Previously Benjamin was a Lead Tester for a medical device company testing both software and hardware products. He is active in the software testing community through writing and speaking. He also serves as the President for the Association for Software Testing. Benjamin views software testing as a skilled craft and his chosen career and enjoys sharing his passion for testing with others. End User – Sarah Pozdell, Marketing Director, Artful Home Sarah has 15 years of marketing experience with companies ranging from local start up to global enterprise. She has had the responsibility of being business lead on marketing initiatives vital to her organizations’ success - including website redesigns, consumer database, marketing solution selection & implementation, and taxonomy overhauls. She has seen firsthand the success of projects with good, up-front business analysis and the frustration and failure of projects lacking a strong business analysis influence.
